Always itching to walk around and take pictures, I went to Annapolis last week. Some of the bloggers and locals I follow on Instagram, mentioned specific streets downtown and so I went! Annapolis is definitely a walking town; you’ll get your steps in but as a reward, there is a lot to see and experience.
Hey there. Our church had a fundraiser brunch for kids in our youth group and I wanted to help out somehow. So, I put on a different kind of creative hat and helped decorate the tables by making tissue paper flowers.
Like many of you, I don’t have long eyelashes. Thank goodness for mascara! But there was a span of months when I didn’t wear any. I had been trying out different brands that looked good on me, but most of the time, there was some ingredient that made me rub my eyes constantly; probably some type of allergic reaction. It was miserable. I think most brands say they’re hypoallergenic, but I’m not too sure. (So word of advice – double check those ingredients!)
I didn’t even bother working with false lashes (falsies); so many ladies rock them and I think it’s great. I haven’t worn any since I did musicals back in college and I don’t think I apply them correctly *facepalm*.
Thankfully, through a sample at Sephora and a recommendation from a friend, I found two wonderful brands that I can use and don’t give me any trouble.
Hey there! This post has been in my draft box for a few weeks, but oh well.
Earlier this month, I went to Clarksburg Premium Outlets and stopped by Talbots. I can always count on this store to inspire me when it comes to accessories. Whether it’s the main store or an outlet, they have a great lineup of adorable bauble necklaces, dangly and stud earrings, intricate statement pieces, and layering jewelry that can brighten any outfit. Even in the wintertime!
It’s a day late, but, oh well!

FIVE | Yesterday was the anniversary of the premiere of Remember The Time music video by Michael Jackson! Y’all know this is my absolute favorite video. The song is memorable and the choreography by Fatima Robinson is iconic! So here it is!
Have a great weekend!
