Happy Monday! New month, new week, new you! 🙂
It’s been a while since I’ve mentioned any makeup on the blog. But I’ve been scooping up items since my last beauty buys post, sharing bits and pieces over on Snapchat, but it’s time to make an official recap.
So, here are the four affordable products I’m truly digging at the moment:
Black Radiance True Complexion Soft Focus Finishing Powder: I think I mentioned this one months ago, but I’m truly cherishing this one. After all the prep work (primer, foundation, concealer), this is great and inexpensive way to seal your look.
Too Faced Born This Way Concealer: I had been using another brand for over a year, and I thought it was time to switch it up. I follow Jackie Aina on Snapchat and she gave her subscribers a heads up for the concealer. There are several shades you can choose from – hallelu! I went to Ulta and bought it. So glad I did! It has a great coverage.
Garnier Anti-Dark Circle Eye Roller: I don’t sleep as much as I should and even the best concealers can’t cover the manifestation of fatigue/stress, etc. What’s cool about this product is that there’s Vitamin C and caffeine in the formula, and it applies cool. Feels really nice on the delicate skin. You’re getting a 2-in-1 (concealing and brightening), which is great. I saw a difference within 3 days.
Buxom Full On Lip Cream: I wanted a pinky-nude tone that didn’t leave a undesirable cakey/white look on my lips. (Whomp whomp.) After talking with a Sephora employee, I chose the shade “Hot Toddy”. I’m really enjoying it. Sometimes, I’ll layer a little bit of Hot Toddy on top of the nude lipstick I wear (post coming soon). Now, I’ll let you know that this is one of those “plumping” products, so be careful. It tingled when I applied it, but it didn’t help much because my lips are already fuller, but I don’t feel it at all anymore.
How about you? Any recent fun beauty buys? Let me know!
