How simple or intricate is your makeup routine?
I know it varies for everyone. Some just need moisturizer and mascara before walking out the door. Or, they choose to not even wear makeup. I wish I was in that category! For others, a full beat is required. And that’s okay!
Lately, I’ve usually put on something, so I’m not scaring folks or having them think I’m always sleep deprived. I can’t always keep my sunglasses on. LOL.
But here are my go-to’s for an easy look, for just going out, or when I have to do these video conference calls (this is a new thing for me).
Here is the breakdown (after I wash my face):
CoverGirl Vitalist Go Glow Luminizing Lotion
Primer (My faves have been NYX First Base, Urban Decay De-Slick, CoverGirl TruBlend)
bareMinerals BareSkin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer
BlackRadiance Pressed Powder or L’Oreal Infallable Pro-Matte Powder
bareMinerals Mineral Veil Finishing Powder
Blush (I found this palette at a local beauty supply store.)
Maybelline FaceStudio Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter
Neutral eye palettes (Ulta, Neutrogena, Maybelline)
Chapstick, lipgloss. (Faves: Bare Minerals and NYX.)
Setting spray (I use Mario Badescu’s rose water spray.)
Of course, the lineup changes, depending on the season. I got inspiration from Kyra Knox’s “no-makeup makeup” video. It takes about 10 minutes or less. Perfect.
How about you? What are your essentials for a “less is more” face?
Whatever you do or don’t do, you’re still beautiful. 🙂
