It’s rare for me to go on a trip during the school year. Haven’t reached the luxury to get up and go just yet. After a bit of planning, I decided to visit Boston for the second time (first – 2014). I have a few friends who live in the area, so it was a fun opportunity to check this city out again.
Here’s a recap of my trip!
The gloomy skies and rain we’ve been receiving this week has me missing the sun. It also got me to think. You know how people have that one place where they can leave it all behind, without any cares? Most would call it their sanctuary.
The beach is that place for me.
Tagged along with my sister to Downtown Philadelphia (A little under 2 hours away from us, with no traffic) last week. A bit chilly, but nevertheless, a beautiful day to check out everything. Now, I’ve visited Philly three times (twice for concerts and one other time seeing a friend), but I didn’t really focus on just observing. But last week, for me, there was no agenda and that was the fun part.
A few weeks ago, I was able to drive to Nashville with my youngest sister, Maia. First real road trip with my new car (Mocha), and the long weekend (Friday morning-Sunday night) was a success! When I wasn’t jumping and dancing around at two fun-filled, energetic concerts (Soon!), we visited a few places in the Nashville area. My sister found a place to stay that was about 20 minutes away from downtown – perfect location. (Thanks to AirBnB!)
