Greetings and Happy November! I have a question for you. Outside of English/your primary language, do you know a different language? I’m pretty sure it’s an obligation to take a foreign language in school, but do you use any of it now? In high school, I took American Sign Language. It was different than the regular options of Spanish and French, but it was one of the best decisions I’ve made.
I think one of the sweetest things in life is a handwritten card. I love it, sending them out and receiving them. There are different occasions to send notes and letters. Birthdays, thank you’s, sympathy, special events, or just because. To the recipient, it’s a physical sign of good thoughts being sent his or her way. Plus, what’s cooler than opening up your mailbox and seeing a colorful envelope among the bills?
It’s about that time, everyone… A week until we celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas, and other festive activities! Are you ready? Excited? Overwhelmed?
We go through so many emotions between Thanksgiving and the New Year. The holidays can bring the best and worst in all of us. For most, it’s a great time to celebrate, reminisce, and get closer to others. But sometimes, we can dread this season. The desire to stay hopeful is there but we can get easily drained by all the things we have to do.
