Lately, I’ve been a hardcore homebody during the weekends. Partially by default. During the week, I’m running all over so I usually keep my off-days empty. But this past weekend, I went to see a musical and brunch. I’m a social butterfly at heart and I do thrive on being around people. This season has been a little different, learning new things and focusing more on myself, which has been a blessing. But it’s still okay to switch it up and go out. A double whammy of fun for me. Of course, I had my phone and camera nearby, so this post has a chockful of pics! Let’s go. 🙂
Sometimes when you wear a bright color, your mood changes. Or better yet, it can enhance what you’re feeling on the inside. I found this sleeveless Georgette tank in Citrus from Apt. 9. When I saw it on the rack, I knew it would be a good addition to my summer ensemble. Kohl’s always comes through with the nice deals. Plus, I didn’t have any yellow in my repertoire. Shameful!
Summer is pretty much here. For most, this means having more free time to explore, get away, and do fun things. I’m down for that. Why not start the adventure closer to home?
My friends and I visited Big Cork Vineyards during Memorial Day weekend. We heard very good things about the place and the timing worked out as well. From where I live, it’s about 45 minutes away in Washington County, MD. It’s in a quiet area, which is nice. Even though it’s not that far, once you arrive on the grounds, you feel like you escaped for the day.
Hi everyone! How are you doing? Any plans for this weekend? I hope it’s warmer for you than it is in Maryland. Our seasons can be so funky, it’s hard to make plans sometimes.
Whatever you’re up to, I hope it’s a great one. I’ll be working on new posts and actually meeting up with friends for a belated celebration. I’ll make sure to take pictures.
Thanks for making the switching over to the new site. If you have time, please like my page. Looking forward to catching up with everyone. 🙂
