Like many of you, I don’t have long eyelashes. Thank goodness for mascara! But there was a span of months when I didn’t wear any. I had been trying out different brands that looked good on me, but most of the time, there was some ingredient that made me rub my eyes constantly; probably some type of allergic reaction. It was miserable. I think most brands say they’re hypoallergenic, but I’m not too sure. (So word of advice – double check those ingredients!)
I didn’t even bother working with false lashes (falsies); so many ladies rock them and I think it’s great. I haven’t worn any since I did musicals back in college and I don’t think I apply them correctly *facepalm*.
Thankfully, through a sample at Sephora and a recommendation from a friend, I found two wonderful brands that I can use and don’t give me any trouble.
Long overdue, but I’m finally sitting down to share some of the items I bought at Ulta during my Christmas break. My parents are gems for giving me a gift card (they know me too well). I was able to find some things on my wish list and other things. Let’s check it out.
Today, I’m listing four of my favorite face products (for pre- and post-makeup application). They’re easy to use and awesome for any beauty budget.
I was supposed to write this months ago, but no time like the present!
I’m all about a neutral lip. For me, it’s a great touch to my beauty routine. I’m still not ready to confidently rock a bold lip yet, but I’m always eager to try a new shade of nude! Every time I go to the makeup store/counter, I always check out the lip products. Lately, I’ve been good about walking away, but usually I’ll buy a new nude lip product.
I noticed that several of my favorites from YouTube and Instagram were using the eyeshadows from Morphe Brushes. Being very enamored by makeup these days and after seeing their beautiful results, I knew I had to join this club.
