Peace. We need it.
How about when you have lots on your plate and you’re feeling stressed and overwhelmed? When things aren’t going your way or you’re facing a challenge.
Do you quit? How do you rise up from the emotional and physical tolls of life?
Sometimes (or a lot of times) you gotta talk to yourself, and remind yourself that you don’t have to do this alone.
We made it, friends. Happy New Year!
2018 was a doozy, right? Good times? Bad times? Seemed like the year zoomed by, but at the same time, dragged along.
But here we are. What are you going to do this year?
Isn’t that good?

Let’s talk about it.
When I tell you that I almost burst into tears when I received this book, it’s the truth. A few weeks ago, I went out with my friend Nikki. It was after work and we were going to catch up over dinner. When she walked in, we hugged, then she handed me something.
It was this: Grace, Not Perfection: Embracing Simplicity, Celebrating Joy by Emily Ley.
As soon as I saw it, I could feel my eyes do that funny thing when water is about to spill out. I’m not a crier, but when emotions hit… Ooh, chile!
