I’ve been on the hunt for a stylish, comfortable pair of boots. I want to look good, but I can’t feel horrible at the end of the day.
In October, I literally walked into Francesca’s, looking for something else, and glanced down to where the shoes were stacked up. The saleswoman mentioned how their tall boots were on sale, and being a great persuader… I humored her and decided to check them out.

Chilly mornings and Indian summers are in full effect this October in Maryland. Cold in the morning, hot and humid in the afternoon, and back to a weird cool in the evening. The struggle is real for this practicing prepster… What can I put on that I won’t regret 5 hours later?
As someone who works in the dance and theatre world, fashion isn’t always a priority. I wear sweats, yoga pants, tee shirts, and the like. Comfort is king. I attempt to spice it up with a colorful and sassy scarf, so I don’t look like a complete bum.
